We regularly review our expenses and only make changes when they’re truly needed. Price updates reflect rising costs from suppliers and the investments required to maintain the level of care we believe your pets deserve.

Online retailers may offer lower prices upfront, but they don’t include medical oversight or the same protections if something goes wrong.

Yes. You always have the choice of where you purchase your pet’s medications.

Our role is to make sure you have the information you need to make the best decision for your pet’s health and safety.

There are a few important things we want you to be aware of:

• Manufacturer guarantees may not apply. Many pharmaceutical companies only stand behind products purchased directly from a veterinarian or an authorized veterinary pharmacy. If a medication doesn’t work as expected, coverage for related treatment may not be available when purchased from a third party.
• Product handling and sourcing can vary. Some online retailers obtain medications through third-party distributors, which means storage conditions and handling may not meet the same standards required in veterinary medicine.
• Prescription approvals can cause delays. Requests from online pharmacies often involve extra steps and back-and-forth communication, which can delay your pet receiving medication — especially when timing matters.
• Continuity of care can be affected. When medications are purchased outside our system, it can be harder to track refills, dosing, and potential interactions as part of your pet’s complete medical record.

When medications are purchased directly through us or our trusted veterinary pharmacy partner:

• Products come directly from manufacturers
• Proper storage and handling are ensured
• Manufacturer guarantees remain in place
• Prescriptions are accurately tied to your pet’s medical history
• Our team is readily available if questions or concerns arise

When available, we also help clients take advantage of manufacturer rebates and promotions, which often bring costs close to — or even below — online pricing.

We can ship products uses USPS to your house, if you are unable to pick up from the clinic. We do not have our own online pharmacy yet, but when we do provide one, we want to make sure it meets our standards for your and your pet’s care.

We are happy to provide written prescriptions upon request so you can fill them at the pharmacy of your choice.

We will review and approve requests that come from Chewy and 1-800 Pet Meds, but cannot guarantee the expediency of those requests.
